Digimon Tamers (Dejimon Teim?zu?), aka ?Digimon: období tři? (2001) je třetí oživená série založená na Digimon povolení. Příběh se koná zpočátku v ?skutečném? světě, svět hodně jako my kde Digimon je jen povolení, složený z videoher, collectible karetní hra, a kreslený seriál. Skupina 12-rok-olds (10-olds roku v japonské verzi), Takato, Henry a Rika (fanoušci Digimon karetní hry) se setkají s jejich vlastními Digimon přáteli a začnou bojovat ?bio-objevující se? Digimon kdo procházet přes překážku mezi zpravodajskou sítí, syntetizovat bílkoviny a stávat se skutečný. Většina z toho vsadila moderní Tokio oddělení Shinjuku a jediné změny scénář k digitálnímu světu pro krátký čas.
